DURO-TUSS CHESTY COUGH LIQUID FORTE reduces chesty mucus cough symptoms. It has a double action formulation that contains a mucolytic and an expectorant to break down, liquefy and loosen mucus, and help expel excess mucus from the chest, clearing heavy chest congestion.
Strawberry
Each 10mL of Oral Liquid contains: Bromhexine Hydrochloride 8mg, Guaiphenesin 200mg.
Shake the bottle before use.
Age: Adults and children 12 years and over.
Dosage: 10mL.
How Often: Every 4-6 hours as required (maximum 4 times a day).
Age: Children 6-11 years (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner).
Dosage: 5mL
How Often: Every 4-6 hours as required (maximum 4 times a day).
Children under 6 years: Do not use.
Do not use this medicine:
– If seal is broken.
– If past the expiry date.
– In children under 6 years of age.
– With any other medicine (including complementary medicines) used to treat common cough and cold symptoms
Also contains sucralose, saccharin sodium, sorbitol and sodium benzoate.
Caution: This medicine contains 7.0g sorbitol per 40mL (maximum recommended daily dose).
Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
