DURO-TUSS Cough Liquid EXPECTORANT contains a double action formulation to clear chest congestion and relieve stubborn coughs.
For dry coughs with chest congestion.
Grenadine (Pomegranate)
Each 15mL of Oral Liquid contains: Pholcodine 15mg, Bromhexine Hydrochloride 12mg.
Shake the bottle before use.
Adults and children 12 years and over: 10-15mL every 6 hours as required (maximum 4 times a day)
Children 6-11 years (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner): 5-10mL every 6 hours as required (maximum 4 times a day)
Under 6 years: Do not use.
Pharmacist Only Medicine
Do not use this medicine:
– In children under 6 years of age
– If seal is broken
– If past the expiry date
Caution: This medication contains 14.7g sorbitol per 60mL (maximum recommended daily dose). Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery.
Avoid Alcohol. Also contains Methyl hydroxybenzoate, Propyl hydroxybenzoate and saccharin sodium.
